Cover top of pie with foil and bake an additional 10 to 15 minutes
I found this recipe somewhere around 1998 in a magazine and fell in love with it.
The thickened cider gives it body and the crumb topping takes it over the edge! I love to serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream plopped on top!
I hope it becomes a staple in your home this fall!
Enjoy❤️
