Apple Streusel Cake

My Company Is Coming Cake!

Cake                                                                                                Streusel

2 cups of all-purpose flour                                                          1 cup brown sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder                                                        1  1/2 cups flour

1/2 teaspoon salt                                                                         2/3 cup melted butter

                                                                                                      2 teaspoons cinnamon

1/2 cup soft butter

1 cup sugar                                                                                           Glaze

2 eggs                                                                                            powdered sugar & milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/3 cup milk

1   (22oz.) can apple pie filling

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder and salt, and set aside.

Beat the butter until smooth.

Add sugar and beat until fluffy, add eggs and vanilla continue whipping until incorporated.

Alternate adding flour and milk untill the batter is creamy and thick.

Give the apple pie filling a quick chop, making the apples bite sized, then fold them into the batter.

Grease and flour a Bundt pan.

Pour batter into the pan, and set aside.

Streusel

Combine the brown sugar, flour, melted butter, and cinnamon and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.

Sprinkle over  the top of the cake batter.

Bake

At 350 F for 1 hour

Remove from the oven and let the cake rest for 5 minutes.

Turn out onto a cake plate and drizzle with a glaze of powdered sugar and milk.

The directions look a little intimidating, but this is one of the easiest cakes I have ever made! It comes together rather quickly and is always moist and delicious! One little tip ~ This cake looks absolutely beautiful with the streusel side up! So I will usually flip it on to a dinner plate and then back onto a cake plate.

You need to flip fast because you will lose a little of the streusel doing it this way, but trust me, it is worth it! ❤️
